Sick Futures Collective

Survival-based | Crip-led

The future is sick.

Sick Futures Collective is led by and for sick and disabled people. We are building a national space where our communities can share resources, create networks of mutual aid and collective care, and organize refusals to the systems that harm us.

We believe that stories, art, and creative expression are vital tools for connection, survival, and systems change. Through our creative projects, podcast, and community workshops, we cultivate spaces where stories become sites of care and imagination — where sick and disabled people can see themselves reflected, valued, and free.

Our disability justice policy observatory works alongside these creative efforts to expose ableist laws and health policies while uplifting the knowledge, creativity, and lived expertise of sick and disabled people. We seek to challenge and transform the colonial, capitalist, white-supremacist, patriarchal, ableist, and transphobic systems that shape our healthcare structures and daily lives.

Our work grows toward regenerative, collective futures — ones sustained by access, reciprocity, creativity, and care.
